Fantastic Caverns, MO

We went to Fantastic Caverns near Springfield, MO on Tuesday.  This cavern has a jeep that pulls trailers behind through the caverns.  It is great for people that don't want or are unable to walk through caves.  This cave had a speakeasy in it during prohibition.  There is still a stage inside the cave.  Here are some of the pictures that I took.

Yesterday was our anniversary.  We went to the Dixie Stampede here in Branson.  Since it is December they had a Christmas theme show.  It was so amazing.  I loved the nativity scene part of the show, that was my favorite.  They brought in sheep, goats, camels, chickens and of course, the beautiful horses during the show.  It was very entertaining, the food was good, and we had a great time.  I also got a flower from one of the horse riders because our side (the North) won a game.  So nice of the horseman to throw it to me.

Snow in Hollister, MO

Well, we came down south to miss the snow up north.  LOL, it just didn't happen.  A big cold front has hit the whole country and we have snow.  Can't have snow without getting out in it so here are the pictures.

Hollister, MO

Left Little Rock, AR a couple of days ago.  We had a great campsite at Maumelle RV Park while we were there.  Camped next to the Arkansas River.  Pictures in the morning and then that night with the full moon.

While we were in Little Rock, we spent a lot of time visiting my father and wife.  We spent Thanksgiving with my family here at Julie and Don's house.  Great food!  I also had to go to the doctor and have another basil cell carcinoma cut off my chest.  Really hoping I don't get any more of those, but know my odds aren't good at this point.

So we are camped at Turkey Creek RV Park here in Hollister.  The campground is right next to Turkey Creek.  This is an Escapee park and they even have a boat ramp here.  We plan on being here for the next month or so.  We must have picked up a lot of ladybugs at Maumelle.  We have taken outside at least 2 dozen ladybugs that were inside the trailer.  We are hoping that we got them all.

I have decorated our rig for Christmas.  Even though we really can't add anything to the rig, I have bought a new crock pot.  It is ideal for cooking larger dinners than the small one I have.  We also got a Christmas present.  Hope it is something we can use.  I am under strict orders from "Mom" to not open until Christmas.  So here are pictures of our trailer decorated.

Here are the stockings I made.
