Our Stay in Little Rock, AR

We are staying at the Maumelle Park in North Little Rock, AR.  We started out by spending most of the winter here, we have been caught in the "polar vortex".  It is much warmer here than it was in Missouri. While here we started looking at houses in Hot Springs.  Wouldn't you know it - we found a great deal and decided to purchase.  So now we are waiting for escrow to close.  I don't have any great photos of the house, but here are a couple.

Bass Pro Shop and Lambert Cafe in Springfield, MO

We went to Springfield, MO to see the Bass Pro Shop there.  Along the way we stopped at the Lambert Cafe.  Way more food than one could ever eat!  The food was good.  When you ask for a roll, they throw it to you.  Seems strange to see rolls flying through the air to customers, but sure was fun to watch.  I would recommend this restaurant.  We had to wait for about 40 minutes, but well worth the wait.

Bass Pro Shop was very interesting.  They had the usual fish tanks and ponds.  They also had a turtle pond and a separate alligator pond.  Above, on the ceiling they had painted it to give one a fish eye view.  Here's a couple of pictures.
