We are finally out of our house and on our way!!!!!

Our first stop is Park Sierra.  It is near Coarsegold on Hwy 41.  We are official Escapee (SKP) members and are allowed to camp here.  It is very reasonable per night plus electric.

Starr has been having a lot of fun watching a gopher that is on our site.  She has been "pointing" the gopher.  She has not even seen the cute gray squirrel.

I love the Manzanita Trees.   Our street is called Manzanita Way.  How appropriate.  We even get lots of birds landing in the trees.

So far, it's been a lot of fun here.  Yesterday we had a potluck for Memorial Day.  A lot of the people will be leaving for the summer.  We will be here another week or two.

We even are seeing the first baby quail in the park for this year.  Click on the picture to make it larger.  They are hiding on the right-hand side, middle of the picture.

Our next adventure will be Wyoming.

  1. Great Pictures! Looks like a very nice/fun place to be. Funny how Star so into the gopher she doesn't notice the squirrel. Beautiful bird pictures and I love quail. They are so cute hurrying from one place to another.
