Little Rock, Arkansas

We are in Little Rock, AR!!!  So far, it's been great.  I have been able to visit with my father and his wife, Michael.  She is wonderful!

One of the first things we did was visit the Old Mill Park.  This old mill is a replica of an old working mill.  The park was dedicated in 1933.  The mill does have some original parts inside.  This mill was shown in the opening credits of  "Gone With the Wind".  This park is very pretty and really interesting.

Yesterday we went on a paddle boat ride on the Mark Twain.  This took us up and down a small section of the Arkansas River.  Did you know that the Arkansas River ties into the Mississippi River?  Here is us with my parents.

Here is a picture of the Clinton Presidential Library as seen from the Mark Twain.  It's right behind the bridge.  Looks like a mobile home hanging out in the air.
